As things are changing every day in the Middle East, uncertainties surrounding supply chains, product availability, costs and logistics are becoming a far bigger concern for businesses in the construction industry.
We want to assure our customers that we as the Cowal Group are doing everything we can to make sure you have the products you need when you need them.
While the current geopolitical situation is already creating significant increased costs in transportation and raw materials, we are determined to keep our prices at reasonable levels in the face of inflationary challenges. However, we must make you aware that some of our suppliers have already started increasing their prices, primarily due to rising costs of haulage and fuel prices, and this will increase the prices of some of our products to you, our valued customers.
The main factors affecting price changes:
- Freight charges (and surcharges) on both localised and international distributors
- Raw material and component sourcing
- Higher energy and gas costs for manufacturers
- Global currency fluctuations on imports and exports
We are also working directly with our suppliers to minimise disruption to our product availability – seeking alternative materials and supplies where required – so that our trade and DIY customers can keep working too.
